2019 has barely gotten started, but by Q4 of 2018 Trend Micro had already seen a 956% increase in coin-mining malware detections for the year-to-date—right alongside the persistent threat of ransomware and online banking and e-commerce hacks designed to steal your identity or your money.
Folks can take heart, however, with the latest release of Trend Micro Security for 2019. Trend Micro’s flagship endpoint security product provides a range of new features and enhancements to protect users from threats like these—right alongside its cross-generation blend of proven and advanced threat defense techniques. Its state-of-the-art protections include advanced artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning capabilities, which support its new Pay Guard browser, especially designed to keep your financial data safe. Available in all editions of Trend Micro Security, Pay Guard helps keep you safe from security risks when banking or shopping online with Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer.
Pay Guard works seamlessly with two other Trend Micro Security features—namely, the Trend Micro Toolbar, which rates links on Web pages and search results, adding mouse-over intelligence about links, to protect you from bad URLs; and Trend Micro Password Manager, which provides encrypted strong-password protection for all your online accounts, including your banking and e-commerce sites. Trend Micro Security also features its Script Analyzer Line-up (SAL) technology, which spots if devices are being attacked by coin-mining or other malware. Other enhancements include its multi-user Folder Shield technology, which protects your most important files from ransomware, including those synced to your cloud accounts (e.g., Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox), for all the user accounts on your computer.
Go to Trend Micro Security Products Overview to find out more about the Trend Micro Security portfolio for 2019, or to try or buy the products. Note that Trend Micro Password Manager, for use with Pay Guard, is automatically installed with Trend Micro Maximum Security. For more information on Password Manager, or to try or buy the product, go to the Password Manager Software website.
