Fortinet, as well as its employees and customers were once again in attendance in 2017 to learn about the current state of the healthcare industry.

We caught up with two Fortinet customers, Tom Stafford, Vice President & CIO of Halifax Health, and Josh Kinsler, Security Engineering Manager at Community Health Network, to hear what’s on the minds of today’s CIOs and other executives across organizations.

Tom Stafford discussed that he and his team at Halifax Health tirelessly work to safeguard patient data as healthcare becomes a more attractive industry for hackers to target in 2017 and beyond. Stafford explains in the video, “we have to safeguard patient information because we are stewards of it.”

As the head of IT, Stafford must also focus on his key objectives of customer service, maintaining operational stability, enhancing strategic and operational initiatives, and safeguarding EPHI.
